Fall Ball FAQs
When is the 2025 Fall Ball Registration?
Registration will be open between July 5 and August 15th.
When will practices begin?
Practices will begin September 8th and there will be one practice per week and practice days will be decided once managers and registration are finalized.
Can I request a specific practice day?
No. The Manager has ultimate say on the practice day, so consider Managing a team to eliminate this possibility.
When will games begin?
Scrimmages/games will be on Saturdays, typically in the afternoon. There will be one game per week and the first games will be September 13th.
What if my child has conflicting soccer/basketball/lacrosse/swimming/tutoring/piano/etc. with some practices or games?
We realize that Baseball may not be the highest priority during the Fall Season. Talk with your Manager regarding conflicts. Fall rosters are typically larger than Spring rosters, with the idea that not every player will make every event. During the Spring season, the expectation is Baseball is the priority if you choose to register your player.
How long is the season?
First practices will be the first week of September and the final game will be on 11/7.
Which Division Should I choose for my player?
Fall Ball is a very low key, short and FUN season. The purpose of Fall ball is to test out the next division and just have fun playing baseball with old and new friends.
How are teams formed?
Teams will be formed during a coaches meeting. The goal of this meeting is to form even teams based on end of season feedback from previous managers/coaches. You will be contacted by your team manager by 8/30.
What equipment does MLL provide for Fall Ball?
All players will receive a Jersey and Hat.
Team equipment such as balls & catchers gear are provided.
If any player is experiencing an equipment hardship, please reach out at [email protected] and MLL will make sure each player has the equipment they need for a fun Fall Ball experience.
What equipment does the family provide?
- Baseball Pants
- Cleats (soccer cleats are fine)
- Glove
- Batting Gloves (optional)
- Bat
- Helmet
- Water bottle
- Protective cup
How do I register?
Create a registration at https://leagues.bluesombrero.com/Default.aspx?tabid=1865290 and complete your registration for Fall Ball.
MLL Refund Policy
Refunds requested prior to being placed on a roster will incur a $25 processing fee.
Refunds are not offered once your player is placed on a roster.
