What are the volunteer requirements?
Our organization depends on your support. Each family is required to do 10 hours of volunteering to get their deposit back.
For the 2025 season, Little League International has updated its Child Protection Program, requiring all volunteers to complete both an annual national background check and a mandatory abuse awareness training course.
The new process mandates that all background checks be conducted through J.D. Palatine (JDP), which offers a seamless integration with the Sports Connect platform, allowing volunteers to complete their application and initiate the screening process directly during online registration.
Additionally, volunteers are required to complete the specific Little League Abuse Awareness Course, available on the Little League Website at LittleLeague.org/AbuseAwareness, which replaces third-party training options and must be completed annually to maintain eligibility.
I'm having trouble registering online. What do I do?
If there are circumstances preventing you to register your player(s) online, contact [email protected] . Keep in mind all deadlines and late fees will apply. Once online registration is closed, registrants may need to be placed on a wait list.
I have more than one player to register; will I have to repeat data entry for each player?
One of the greatest advantages to this system is that once entered the data will be stored for each family member saving you time in the registration process. Since medical information may be unique to each family member, this personal information must be data entered separately.
I will be registering more than one player in our family. Does MLL offer a family discount?
Yes
Do T-ball and A-ball players attend tryouts?
No, players who register for these divisions do not participate in tryouts. If you have a buddy request, make sure to fill it in during registration. Buddy requests are only allowed for the T-ball, A-ball and AA divisions.
Do AA players attend tryouts?
No, players who sign up for the AA division for the first time are required to attend a AA Readiness event which will be held on the weekend of February 21st/22nd.
Do I need to get verified again if I am a returning player?
Yes, all players are required to show proof of age and/or residence every season.
I have created an account and password in preparation to register my child however, I did not see a step to process payment. How do I know if my registration was successful?
A confirmation will be sent via email within 24 hours of registration. If you do not receive a confirmation, login and check if transaction is still pending in cart.
My child has already played in T-ball. I prefer my child to play in the A-ball Division.
Your player may elect to play in Farm as a League age 6 year old, but it is a larger commitment with a higher division fee. Please see our main registration page for details.
